It's not uncommon for people to experience wrist problems and pain when doing weight bearing exercises from push ups or yoga poses such as Sun Salutations, planks, crane poses and more. This is generally caused because of the extreme range of extension required of the wrist to support the body in these poses. The Stick-e® Wrist Saver® is designed to elevate the heel of the hand to lessen the degree of extension providing more comfort and less strain.
Despite the misnomer, the Wrist Saver® is also a Knee Saver and can you used on ankles, elbows, behind the neck and wherever support and cushioning is needed. The following video shows all of the uses and proper wear:
"Used my Stck-e for my wrists today for the first time. Wonderful....I don't have to give up yoga! I'd had a tendon transplant in my wrist/thumb joint and was close to stopping yoga. I've also shared the information about Stick-e with my yoga instructor and other women. Maybe in the future I can get another set for my knees. Thank you for a much needed product." Francy O. "Hi! I LOVE your products. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and was diagnosed at the age of 13, I'm 32 now. Doing Yoga was always a challenge, because my hands and feet are GREATLY affected by the disease. I've even had my ankle fused and numerous operations on the feet ankles & wrists. Your wrist saver is AWESOME. Yoga helps me SO much -emotionally, spiritually and physically. So to have something that helps my wrists, is AMAZING... In fact, everyone asks me about the wrist supports at the studios I go to - I always tell them stick-e.com :) I have had about 20 people ask me and I certainly hope they check your store and products out. A lot of people have the wrist ailments and your product really helps....
You have helped me to reach new 'heights' and lengths :) I am always utilizing props because I do not have the correct alignment of bones that a 'normal' person might have so rollers, half rollers, blocks, bands and more, are a necessity...
"I tested the sticky wrist savers, and I am now a huge fan! I was able to hold poses longer. I was so comfortable and the product was so easy to use. Love love love it! Several people in my class expressed interest in your products as well. I think a knee saver might be a great help too. One of my friends expressed an interest in possibly having the savers in different fashion colors to match mats." April Forsythe, Kopperl TX 01/31/10
"I just tried my new Stick-e Wrist Savers. Wonderful is all that I can say...The Stick-e Wrist Savers did not slip once. The cushion for each Stick-e wrist saver is more than enough for the displacement of upper body support. Personally I have tiny hands and I still felt confident in using Yoga Stick-e Wrist Savers." "These are great! I can finally do push ups and hold plank position without my wrists giving out!" Linda Connolly, Yoga Stick-e Socks Fan Page on Facebook 01/22/09
"I was using those 'perfect push-up' wheels because I have neuropathy in my thumbs and wrists. They're hard and cumbersome. She let me use her Stick-e wristsavers. They were amazing!" R. Mallory, Brandon MS 02/27/10
"My Stick-e props arrived. They are worth their weight in gold. I have a lot of pain at the base of my thumbs when I do a down dog. The Stick-e props really help with that as well as being a great wrist supporter. I am so glad to know about them!" J. Harden from Denver, CO April 2, 2011
